Welcome Jordan Brooks, the newest member of the USOW team!

I’m a little new here, so let me introduce myself. I just joined the United State of Women team as Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer. I know some of you from my previous job in the Obama Administration’s Council on Women and Girls. USOW does some fantastic work lifting up women’s issues and voices and bringing people together to organize on behalf of women and girls, so it was really an easy choice to join them. And I’m thrilled to be here doing this work with this amazing team, and with you, advancing women’s equality all around the world.

And one of my first orders of business is moderating our call to kick off our Week of Action tonight at 7pm. It’s not too late for you to RSVP to join us, and I really don’t think you want to miss this one.

We’ve got a wonderful slate of speakers who are ready to help us get fired up for next week’s Week of Action: Senators Kirsten Gillibrand and Patty Murray, Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal, Planned Parenthood Federation of America President Cecile Richards, and leaders from the Women’s March, and Indivisible Project.

Sign up to join us as we field questions, strategize ways to organize our communities, and promise to make our presence felt and our voices heard.

Bring all your questions and your ideas. I’m so excited to hear them.

And if you weren’t able to RSVP, the call will be livestreamed on our website!

Let’s Go!
