We invite you to screen and post the link and description of “On 2nd Thought”, a film conceived of by Black Women for Positive Change, based on a true story.  Link below:

Black Women for Positive Change, a national, volunteer, civic organization has produced “On  2nd Thought,” a short‐film tool to be used for youth violence prevention. The film based on a  true story, urges young people to have a “2nd Thought” before committing acts of violence.

Quotes from youth viewers:

Derrick, 17 yrs, “Consequences come from one not using their second thought…”      Cheyne, 17 yrs, “Events such as teen pregnancy, gun violence and domestic violence and  abuse can all be prevented and eventually stopped….”

We encourage all participants in the United State Summit on Women to show “On 2nd Thought”  to youth and hold post‐movie talks about how to stop violence.
