During March 2016 Women’s History Month, we were honored to have HOPE Small Business Empowerment Program Graduates to visit and participate in a briefing on President Obama Administration’s Commitment to
economic equity for all by executive office of The White House Council Of Women & Girls (WHCWG).  The women learned about the WHCWG Women & Girls Of Color Addressing Challenges & Expanding Opportunities Report

City Of Atlanta Women’s Entrepreneurship Initiative

Operation HOPE values its local government alliances.  In the Operation HOPE Global Corporate Headquarters City of Atlanta, Georgia, in December 2015, we announced our alliance with the City Of Atlanta Women’s Entrepreneurship Initiative (WEI) to empower aspiring Atlanta Women Entrepreneurs with business training.  WEI aims to provide peer – to – peer interaction mentorship engagement and information exchange to promote significance of social capital for the community of women entrepreneurs.  WEI is an incubator for Atlanta Women business owners to grow their business, provide community outreach, education workshops and mentorship.  For more information on the Operation HOPE & WEI Alliance, visit the following websites at www.operationhope.org and www.weiatlanta.com.  Contact WEI Executive Director Theia Washington, 404-546-4065 and Operation HOPE Atlanta Vice President Tara Dennis, 404-941-2919.
